Joakim Monsen Music
Joakim Monsen
Accordionist and accordion coach in Tromsø, Norway.
He started on bass and guitar as a child and learned to play by ear. At 18 he saw Farmers Market in concert, and Stian Carstensen’s accordion playing made such a strong impression that he got an accordion of his own.
Today he teaches groups, in person in Tromsø and online, focusing on fingering, ear training and music reading. He also plays in a Finnish tango orchestra in Tromsø.
